Installing Printer Driver

You can install the PostScript Printer Driver that came with Windows Vista/Server 2008/7/Server 2008 R2.

Before installing the PostScript Printer Driver, prepare the driver related files by downloading from dedicated Web

site. Use the following steps to install the printer driver:

Start Windows

Make sure that the printer is turned on.

Log on to Windows with the user name with

Administrator privileges.

Select [Start] - [Control Panel] and open the Control

Panel.

Double click on the [Printer] icon. When the [Printer]

icon is not displayed, select [Classic View] from the

menu on the left hand side of the window.

For Windows 7/Server 2008 R2,

click the [Devices and Printers] icon.

If icons are not displayed, change [View by:]

on the right hand side of the window

from [Category] to [Large icons] or [Small icons].

At the top of the screen, click [Add Printer].

For Windows Server 2008:

Select [File] - [Run as administrator] - [Add Printer].

When [Run as administrator] is not displayed, select

[File] - [Add Printer].

For Windows 7:

Select [Add a Printer] on the top of the window.

For Windows Server 2008 R2:

Select [Add Printer] on the top of the window. When

[Choose an option] is displayed, select [Add a local

or network printer as an administrator].

Click on [Add a local printer].

To use the printer by connecting to the network or

print via another print server, select [Add a local

printer].
