Application
The heat meter WR 200-F is used to detect the heat energy in closed heating or cooling
systems using a liquid heat carrier. The heat energy from the current heat output according
to the formula
P = Q · ∆T · k
calculated integrated over time and summed on a 9-digit counter.
The flow rate is also added up to another counter.
The heat coefficient k is calculated for water in the range of 0 ..
250 ° C as a function of flow and return temperature and the location of the flow measure-
ment. Basis for calculating are material properties for water according IAPWS-IF97.
For other heat carriers (e.g. Water-brine mixtures or thermal oil) can be considered equiva-
lent thermal coefficients in the unit.
