Reca ll m emo r y

1. To recall a memory, you must begin with the device

being powered off.

2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the last

record shows.

3. Press and release the ON/OFF button to recall up

to 9 previous records.

4. If no operation, the device will beep twice indicating

it is ready for measuring.

1. Repeat RECALL MEMORY step 1 and step 2.

2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 3

seconds until "dEL".

3. Press and release the ON/OFF button again to

delete all stored records in device.

4. The device will power off automatically.

5. To stop deleting memory, no operation when you

see "dEL".

6. The device will be ready for measuring after 2

seconds.

U s e

Measurement Consideration

CAUTION

1. Make sure the measuring site is dry, clean and free of sweat and

cosmetics prior to measurement taking.

2. Clean the probe before and after each measurement to prevent

cross-contamination, see Cleaning & Disinfection.

3. After cleaning and disinfecting the probe, please wait at least 2

minutes to do a measurement.

1. Place the probe on the temple. Temple area is located between the

outer corner of the eye and the hairline, right on top of the temporal

artery area.

2. For the most accurate measurements, be sure to hold the probe

firmly (but not too hard) on temple.

3. Once you have placed the probe on the temple, do not move

before the measuring is done.

Doing a Measurement

1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device, it will

auto self-diagnosis.

2. When all symbols appear on the display, the self-

diagnosis is finished, it is ready for measuring.

3. After the device beeps twice, place the probe on

the measuring site.

4. The measurement is done when you hear one

long beep.

5. Read the temperature on LCD.

6. Backlight will light up in accordance with the reading.

7. The device's fever alarm will beep continuously when

the temperature reading is higher than 99.5°F.
