Safety
Observe applicable safety regulations for installation. The spot runs on 230 V electrical
power. To avoid danger, separate the dot-spot eco 230 V spot from the power supply
before any work. The spot can not be opened. Connect the spot only if the electrical rating
specified on the safety contact socket matches your main power socket rating.
High ambient temperatures impact the LED's life expectancy. In order to ensure the LED's long life
it is advisable to make sure of adequate heat conduction. Therefore do not run the spot in ambient
temperatures > 50°C.
Tight sealing of the spot can only be guaranteed if the outer sleeve of the connecting cable is
undamaged and the connecting cable is clamped in a water tight manner. Otherwise, penetrating
moisture can reach and destroy the spot's electronics, due to the capillary effect. Spots with dam-
aged power connection cable should absolutely not be operated.

Preparation
Unpack the whole scope of delivery and check the content, which depends on the scope, for com-
pleteness and integrity.
Dispose of any packaging material you no longer require in line with local regulations. If you notice
any transport damage, please contact immediately the dealer from whom you purchased the spot.
1. Assembly with peg (enclosed)
Use a suitable tool to ram the ground spike into the ground. When using a metal hammer, put a
piece of wood or something in between to protect the ground spike.
Then screw the mounting bracket of the light onto the ground spike with the enclosed M6 x 10 mm
screw and snap ring. The snap ring is placed between the screw head and the mounting bracket.
Align the mounting bracket before tightening.
