nut on the cable
on the bottom

Do not remove endcap or
disassemble unit.

Pull cable through the
hole in the endcap
flange until taut.

Pull cable up through
hem bar eyelet.
Crimp the
barrels
approximately
1/ 8 "
above
(3mm)
pencil mark.
Mark cable at
the bottom of
the endcap
flange.

Cut cable
approximately
1"
above
(25mm)
crimped barrels.

Pull cable
down, until
crimped
barrels are
resting on
the flange.

Undo the nut and
pull the cable down,
until the mark aligns
with the bottom
of the endcap

Reassemble cable
and nut on the
bottom bracket and
tighten
