Symptom
No menu in EVIC
Changed a setting and it didn't
take effect
Changed gear ratio and
"service AWD" is showing
Manual transmission, changed
tire size and have ESS error
LED Turn signals are
hyperflashing

Cause
EVIC display has to be in
state where it can display
radio station name
Needs a sleep/wake cycle
and/or radio reboot
Incorrect gear ratio chosen or
setting didn't initialize
ESS re-learn procedure not
completed.
Needs a few sleep/wake cycles
and calibration
Needs a sleep/wake cycles
because computer didn't finish
synchronization routine

Solution
Set EVIC so it's showing radio
station name. This
would be the the "Audio" menu
on JL Dash screen
See the instructions above in
the "Settings Menu" section,
about sleep cycling and radio
rebooting.
Vehicle needs a sleep cycle and
short drive to fully initialize.
Please see the ESS relearn
procedure on the support page
for Tazer JL.
See the instructions above in

rebooting. Then run each turn
signal for 20 seconds.
Wait a few minutes and then
try changing ignition state, then
perform one sleep cycle.
