Logging into a phone
Press * # and extension number.
Making Calls
For external calls, dial 9 and the destination number or, for internal calls, just dial the extension and
begin conversation. To automatically announce yourcall over the destination extension's speakerphone,
dial 0+ the extension number. After you hear a beep you can begin talking over their speakerphone.
Answering Calls
You can lift the handset, press the "Speaker" button, or press the line appearance button of the ringing
line to begin conversation.
Place a Call on Hold
While caller is on the phone, press the HOLD softkey..
To retrieve a caller, go to line where the caller is on hold and pick it back up.
Park Calls
While caller is on the phone, press one of the park buttons (e.g. Park 1, Park 2, Park 3).
To retrieve parked calls, press the lit Park key and press the Connect softkey.
Transfer calls
While caller is on the phone, press the Transfer softkey. Then, dial the ext. to which you want to transfer.
You may either hang up to connect or wait for the person to answer in order to announce the call. When
you hang up, the caller will be connected.
To Transfer calls directly to Voicemail
While the Caller is on the phone, press Transfer softkey. Then, press # + extension number of the
destination parties voicemail. Hang up, and caller will hear destination parties greeting immediately.
Conference Calls
There are two types of conference features available to you...
Ad-hoc:
Answer or place a call, then press the Hold softkey. Make your second call and press CONFERENCE
softkey. Repeat previous stepsto add multiple parties.
Conference Bridge:
Each extension has a private conference bridge at its disposal. To send callers into your personal
conference bridge, press the Transfer softkeywhile on the call. Dial 2 and your extension number, then
hang up. Repeat for all additional callers. Once all parties have been added to the bridge, dial 2 and your
extension number to join the conference. Internal users can also join and transfer callers into your
conference bridge by dialing or transferring callers to 2 and your extension number (your bridge
numbering may vary depending on you extension numbering scheme.)
