EPLACING THE

ICK

A worn out, defective, or improperly installed Pick Roller Unit will cause

misfeeds and paper jams. It can also cause the "Pick roller unit not set"

message to be displayed on the Operator Panel of the scanner. The Pick

Roller Unit has an approximate life of 300,000 pages. If NCR or carbon-

less paper is used the life span of the Pick Roller Unit may be decreased

by half.

•

Lift the Lever at the right to

open the Upper Transport

Unit.

•

Pull the ADF release levers

towards you and lift up the

ADF Sheet Guide Assembly.

ADF Release Levers

Slide the Pick Roller Unit to

the left and remove it toward

the upper right.
