6.2.4 Flash Programming
The following procedure must be followed for Flash programming:
1. Power off the board
2. Configure the microcontroller mode:
3. Check the Jumper-settings according to the UART (chapters 4.10 and 4.11) and the
jumper settings below the DPI switch figures.

Note: JP50 don‟t care, JP51A/B closed
Rule 9: By using a Serial Flash Programmer the jumper settings of JP50 and JP51A/B
must be considered.
Rule 10: Use serial 1:1 cable for connection between PC and starter kit.
5. Connect the configured UART (see above) to your serial PC communication port.
A straight 1:1 cable connection has to be used.
6. Power-on the board again.
