PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS
A. Summary Of Key Requirements

Observe all local plumbing codes.
·
Install the bath to an adequately supported, level
subfloor.
· The bath is designed for alcove installation.
·
K-156T-LCP/RCP is designed for below-the-floor
drain installation. K-23769T-LCP/RCP is designed
for above-the-floor drain installation.
B. Plumbing Specifications
If using a rim-mounted bath faucet, flexible connections
between the valves and spout may be required.
Confirm adequate mounting, connection
specified faucet for your installation.
C. Product Inspection
Uncrate and inspect bath for damage. Leave all
materials in the crate during construction to prevent
damage.
NOTE: Damage occurred during transport or
installation shall not be covered by warranty.
D. New or Replacement Installation
Requirements
For replacement: Remove the old bath from the alcove,
and remove all old wall material and floor covering from
the area. Remove any old plumbing that does not
conform to the roughing-in requirements. Refer to the
roughing-in, and repair or replace the stud framing and
subfloor, as need. Measure and cut a channel in the
subfloor to accommodate the drain pipe and fittings.
Position the plumbing according to the roughing-in
dimensions. Cap the suppliers, and check for leaks.
For new installation: Refer to the roughing-in, and
construct the stud framing. Measure and cut a channel
in the subfloor to accommodate the drain pipe and
fittings. Position the plumbing according to the
roughing-in dimensions. Cap the suppliers, and check
for leaks.
