2. Prepare the Faucet and Drain Site
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not kink or cause damage to the cable on the bath drain during
installation.
IMPORTANT! The K-7219 bath drain is required for this installation.
Mark the drain location on the subfloor. Use the cut-out template provided with the bath to assist
you.
Assemble the drain. Refer to the "Assemble the Drain" section in the installation guide packed with
the drain.
Insert the drain into the P-trap through the cutout in the floor.
Install the finished floor material on the subfloor.
Verify the distance from the top of the drain flange to the top of the finished floor is 1-1/2" (38
mm). Adjust as needed to achieve this distance.
Ensure the drain is on center at the marked locations using a level. Adjust as needed.
