Precautions when using a personal computer
The symptoms described below may occur when using a personal
computer. Follow the instructions of the corresponding solution.
(This section describes solutions to be performed from an administrator
account.)
<NOTE>
• The following information is based on the results of operation
confirmation tests performed by Panasonic. The symptoms may vary
depending on factors such as your personal computer environment
and OS update state.
When using Windows
The operating procedures and screens in the explanations are for
Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 9.0.
Pop‑up appears when you attempt to access
with the Web browser and you cannot log in
Perform the procedures A and B below.
A) In the information bar, set the pop‑up to [Always allow].
1) Click [Options for this site] in the information bar.
2) Click [Always allow].
B) Register as trusted site and add security setting.
1) Click [Tools] → [Internet options] in Internet Explorer.
2) Click the [Security] tab and then select [Trusted sites].
3) Set [Security level for this zone] to [Low].
• The security level of your personal computer is reduced by this
setting.
4) Click [Sites].
5) Enter [http://Unit's IP address/] in [Add this website to the
zone] and then click [Add].
• Also confirm that the [Require server verification (https:) for all
sites in this zone] check box is cleared.
6) Click [Close].
Unnecessary status bar or scroll bar is
displayed in the pop‑up window
1) Click [Tools] → [Internet options] in Internet Explorer.
2) Click the [Security] tab and then select [Internet].
3) Click [Custom level].
4) Select [Enable] for [Allow script‑initiated windows without size
or position constraints].
5) Click [OK].
6) When the warning window appears, click [Yes].
