Type-C to HDMI(4k/60Hz)/USB-AX2/SD/TF/RJ45/PD Charging with DP1.4 Alt mode
Dear Customer,
Have a nice day! Thank you for your purchase. Here are some tips for you to get
the most out of our product:
1. We suggest connecting the hub to the main device first, and then connect the
accessories to the ports.
2. The 4K@60Hz is only available for laptops with DisplayPort 1.4 and 8K
enabled. 60Hz only supports the 8 devices: Macbook Air 13"2020, Macbook Pro
15" 2019/2018, Macbook Pro 16" 2019, iPad Pro 12.9" 2020/2018, iPad Pro 11"
2020/2018.
3. You could charge an iPhone by the USB 3.0 interface, but please note the USB
ports are mainly intended for data transmission and do not support charging
high-power phone power.
4. If you can't get the Ethernet port to work, please reinstall the Ethernet driver,
or try this device with a different computer/ethernet cable and see if the issue
persists.
5. In order to effectively reach 1 Gbps network, please use CAT5E standard and
above Ethernet cable.
6. If you can't get the HDMI port to work, please try some of the following steps:
1) Confirm if the connected USB-C port of your device supports DP Alt Mode. To
do this, please consult your device's user manual, contact the seller, or check
the manufacturer's website.
2) Try a different computer and HDMI cable to see if the issue still persists.
3) Plug your HDMI cable directly into your device and see if you get a stable
connection. If you can't get a stable connection, then the problem is with your
HDMI cable.
4) Verify that your monitor is configured to the correct input (HDMI).
7. If you want the hub work with iPad Pro, you must update to the latest version
of the iPad OS.
8. Due to the power output limitations of some laptops, it is recommended that
you connect only one HDD / SDD at a time.
9. USB 3.0 interferes 2.4GHz WiFi and other wireless devices due to the similar
frequencies. According to Microsoft, the problem occurs only for the 2.4GHz
wireless band, but not for 5GHz. Please set your router as 5GHz to avoid the
problem.
10. We recommend using a 100W PD(Power Delivery) charger: 92W for
charging the connected laptop and 8W for powering the hub.(Tips: The USB-C
PD port, without data function).
Should you have any questions or difficulties, feel free to contact us, and we will
resolve them for you as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to
help.
We look forward to seeing you again.
Sincerely,
Dockteck Team
