WATER TANK DRAINAGE
A) During Cooling Mode:
-
When the water level inside the internal tank reaches a predetermined level, the unit will stop all
operations automatically and the digital display area shows P1 .
-
Carefully remove the water tank from the cabinet and dispose of the water. Replace the water tank
back to its original position. Then the air conditioner will resume operation.
B) During Dehumidifying Mode:
-
Condensed water will be accumulated in the water tank. When the tank is full, the Water Full
indicator light will start flashing. At this time the dehumidification process will immediately stop.
And the fan motor will also stop operation. Carefully remove the water tank from the cabinet
and dispose of the water. Replace the water tank back to its original position and the
Dehumidifying process will automatically resume. It may take 3-5 minutes for the compressor to
re-start. This is normal.
CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE
-
To connect the continuous drain option for Cooling and dehumidifying modes, firstly remove
the water tank from the cabinet. Inside you will find a section of hose hanging beside the
water tank, which is plugged at the end. Release the band and remove the drain plug from
the end of the hose(See Fig.5).
-
Replace the water tank back to its original position and route the hose through the hole
provided under the bottom of the water tank.
-
Place the open end of the hose directly over the drain area in your basement floor(see Fig.6).
IMPORTANT:
-
Please make sure the drain hose routed through water tank does not interfere with the
correct positioning of the water tank inside the cabinet, or the fail-safe switch mechanism
will be activated, not allowing the unit to operate.
-
If you want to change the water drainage type from continuous to using water tank, please
make sure the drain plug is plugged tightly at the end of the drain hose.
