10. Care

WARNING: Use a liquid decalcifier with citric

acid and follow with the mixing ratio. A total

amount of 700 ml (0.7 litres) of liquid is

needed to decalcify the device.

Replace the water tank with the descalcifier

➔

(without filter cartridge).

After replacing the water tank with the decalci-

fier (0.7 liters) the Rinse button lights up.

By pressing the Rinse button you are

➔

confirming that decalcifier is present in the

water tank.

The decalcification programme begins. The

display shows "DECALC" with a progress bar.

Once the decalcifier has gone through, the

display shows the "Rinse water tank" symbol.

Remove the water tank and rinse it out with

➔

plenty of fresh water.

Replace the filter cartridge in the water

➔

tank and fill it with with fresh water up to

the "MAX" mark.

After replacing the water tank with fresh water,

the Rinse button lights up.

By pressing the Rinse button you are

➔

confirming that fresh water is present in

the water tank.

The device will now be rinsed.

The display shows the "Rinsing" symbol.

The decalcification process is complete.

10.3 Transport setting

10. Care

After rinsing, the device heats up and is

ready for preparation. The display shows the

"READY" symbol.

The transport setting consists of an automatic

drainage programme that can prevent frost

damage in winter.

WARNING: The device may only be transport-

ed after the automatic drainage process has

been carried out and the transport setting is

activated.

Requirements: The display shows "READY".

In the display menu (see Chapter 9) under the

menu point "Service" you can find the "Trans-

port setting" setting.

Use the arrow keys to select this option

➔

then press the OK button.

The operating menu "Transport setting" will

appear.

Use the arrow keys to select "Start" then

➔

press the OK button.

The transport setting begins. First the device

is rinsed with water. The display shows the

"Rinsing" symbol.
