Programming the Battery charging voltages and absorption time
The voltage levels (low voltage, float voltage, end of charge voltage and the equalisation voltage) and
the duration of the absorption stage can all be altered.

Stage 1 Setting the Voltage levels:
Push and hold down the 'Program' (21) and the
'Change Status' (19) buttons simultaneously for a
minimum of 2 seconds.
In the Voltage programming mode the LEDs 10-13
have different functions as show opposite. The four
Red LEDs on the right hand side, if illuminated,
show which voltage level is being altered. Push
button 20 until the correct LED is illuminated. Then
using the table above press button 19 until the
desired voltage is achieved idicated by the LEDs
14-18.
example: Change the Low Voltage level to 11.4V.
Firstly press buttons 19 and 21 together to enter
programming mode. Press button 20 until the Low
Voltage LED 13 is illuminated. From the table
above we can see that LED17 equals 11.4V. Press
button 19 until LED 17 is illuminated.
To store this result do not press any buttons for 10
seconds and the program will be automatically
saved.
Stage 2 Adjusting the Absorption time
To adjust the absorption time, use the same method and the same table as above. Instead of having
one LED on the right hand side to signify Absorption time, all four LEDs will illuminate.
example: Change the absorption time to 4 hours.
Press buttons 19 and 21 for 2 seconds minimum to enter the programming mode. Press
button 20 until all 4 LEDs on the right hand side are illuminated (LEDs 10-13). Using the
table above LED 14 denotes 4 hours. Press button 19 until LED 14 is illuminated. Do not
touch any buttons for 10 seconds and change will be saved.
The voltage levels and times that have been changed will not activate until the next
charging cycle.
Charging at the incorrect voltage levels can greatly reduce the life of your battery.
