Attention! Safety goggles must be used dur-
ing the milling process!
2. Step: Grinding
Turn speed adjustment wheel to pos. C. Use
sufficient cooling water and grind thoroughly
while applying the grinding cylinders within
the range of R 200 to R 3000. The cylinders
R 200 and R 400 still take off a considerable
amount of material, therefore working time
with these should be limited.
Steady, even pressure of the tool to the ma-
terial will result in a steady oscillating motion
of the head. In order to achieve even wear of
the cylinder coating it is advisable to work
alternately with the upper and lower area of
the cylinder (especially when working on
slab thickness of 2-3 cm).
3. Step: Polishing
Use cylinder GADIA-CYLI Polisher. Turn
speed adjustment wheel to position B and
reduce water supply to a minimum.
To gain polishing results of highest quality
we recommend applying the polishing paste
GE 3 PAM after having finished work with
the machine.
4. Finishing the Work Session
Having finished the job, clean the felt coating
on the base plate of the edge polisher using
compressed air.
Renew the felt coating if it is excessively
dirty. By regulary doing so scratching prob-
lems will be avoided.
• After finishing work: it is important to
clean the machine and dry it by using
some compressed air.
