Section II Working Principle of Optical Power Meter

The working principle diagram is shown in Fig. 3-1. The program-controlled amplifier circuit converts the
measured optical power into a photocurrent proportional to it, and then sends it to an analog-to-digital
converter to convert it into a digital quantity representing the magnitude of the optical power, and further
sends it to the control processing section for calculation and processing, and then sends it for displaying.
The control processing part also performs operations such as zero setting, turning on the laser,
measurement mode conversion, wavelength setting, and corresponding calculation according to the key
operation.
