Replacement routines
Ê Plug the power cables on the Xn connectors of the new Power backplane
(see also

Ê Install the PS safe guard and fasten it with one screw.
Ê Reinstall the hot-plug power supply unit(s).
Ê Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see
the Options Guide).

Replacing the SAS/SATA backplane

As spare part the SAS/SATA backplane is already mounted in the SAS/SATA
backplane holder.
Ê Open the server as described in the
Ê Remove all the hot-plug hard disk drives (for a description see the Operating
Manual).

CAUTION!
Check if all hard disk drives are uniquely identified so that you can
reinsert them into their original bays.
