Operating hours counter
The number of hours the appliance has
been in operation is stored in memory.
The indicator lamp for the grease fil-
ter lights up red when the grease fil-
ter needs to be cleaned. See "Cleaning
and care" for further information on
cleaning the grease filter and resetting
the operating hours counter.
Altering the operating hours counter
for the grease filter
You can set the operating hours counter
to suit the type of cooking you do.
It is set at the factory for 30 hours.
– Select a shorter time of 20 hours if
you roast or fry a lot.
– If you only cook occasionally we re-
commend that you still select a short
time because grease which has built
up gradually over a long period of
time will harden on the filter and
make cleaning more difficult.
– Select a longer time of 40 or 50 hours
if you use very little fat for cooking.
Press the On/Off control to switch
the fan off.
Press the Run-on option control
and the Grease filter control at the
same time.

The indicator lamp for the grease fil-
ter and one of the "/" indicator
lamps will flash.
The indicator lamps on the "/" con-
trols show the interval set:
1st lamp................................... 20 hours
2nd lamp .................................. 30 hours
3rd lamp ................................... 40 hours
4th lamp ................................... 50 hours
Press the "" control for a shorter or
the "" control for a longer cleaning
interval.
Confirm with the Grease filter con-
trol .
All the indicator lamps will go out.
If you do not confirm within 4 minutes,
the cooker hood will revert to the old
setting.
