Use the USB cable supplied with the PMW-EX3 to
connect the USB connector in the hole on the bottom
of the PMW-EX3 to the USB port on the computer.
Note
When connecting the USB cable, press down the knob
and lower the pad stopper, and make sure that the cable
plug does not bump against the pad stopper.
Press the knob.

To disconnect the PMW-EX1/EX3 from the
computer

Unplug the USB cable from the USB connector on the
PMW-EX1, and from the USB port on the computer.

The pad stopper is lowered.

Replace the connector cover, and tighten the screw.

Return the grip to the original position.
To disconnect the PMW-EX3

Unplug the USB cable from the USB connector on the
PMW-EX3, and from the USB port on the computer.
Unplug the USB cable from the PMW-EX3's USB
connector while pressing down the knob.

Press the shoulder pad until the knob returns to its
original position and you hear it click into place.

Attach the fixing plate, and tighten the screw.

While pressing down the knob, press in the shoulder
pad again until you hear it click into place, and the
knob returns to its original position.
