CONTROL PANEL AND FEATURES
Not all features and cycles are available on all models.
POWER BUTTON
1
Press to turn the washer ON. Pressing once while the
washer is on will cancel the current cycle, pressing twice
will turn the washer OFF.
WASH CYCLE KNOB
2
Turn the Wash Cycle knob to select a cycle for your laundry
load. See "Cycle Guide" for detailed descriptions of cycles.
TIME/STATUS DISPLAY
3
The Estimated Time Remaining display shows the time
required for the cycle to complete. Factors such as load
size and water pressure may affect the time shown in
the display. Tightly packed loads, unbalanced loads, or
excessive suds may cause the washer to adjust the cycle
time, as well.
If you have set a delay start to the cycle, the Estimated
Time Remaining display will show the delay time adjusted.
When the cycle is complete, the Done indicator will light
until the lid is opened.
The Lid Lock indicator lights up when the lid is locked
and cannot be opened. If you need to open the lid,
press START/PAUSE. The lid will unlock once the washer
movement has stopped. This may take several minutes
if the load was spinning at high speed. Press START/
PAUSE again to restart the cycle.
ECO MONITOR
4
Your washer is specially designed to conserve energy
and water. Each cycle, along with any selected options,
will result in different energy and water usage. To use
the Eco Monitor, choose the best cycle for the load being
washed, then adjust temperature and spin speed options
to improve the energy usage within that cycle.
START/PAUSE BUTTON
5
Press to start the selected cycle; press again to pause
a cycle.
CYCLE OPTIONS
6
You may add or remove options for each cycle. Not all
options can be used with all cycles, and some are preset
to work with certain cycles.
ECOBOOST
™
The EcoBoost
option allows you to increase your
™
energy savings on your wash cycles. When this option
is used, the wash cycle will use cooler wash water than
the selected cycle and may increase the spin speed
for faster drying.

EXTRA RINSE
This option can be used to automatically add a second
rinse to most cycles.
DEEP CLEAN with HEATER
The Deep Clean with Heater option helps to ensure better
soil and stain removal. Deep Clean uses a heater within
the washer to maintain the selected temperature setting
throughout the wash period. This option will add some
additional time to the cycle based on which temperature
is selected. It is a preset cycle setting on the Sanitary
cycle. Deep Clean with Heater may be selected as an
option with other cycles.
DISPENSERS
Press this button to set the dispensers for Oxi, Fabric
Softener, or both so that the selected laundry product
is added to the load at the correct time.
CYCLE SIGNAL
Use this option to adjust volume of the signal that sounds
at end of cycle. A louder signal is helpful in removing
items as soon as cycle is complete.
Press and hold the CYCLE SIGNAL button to illuminate
the washer basket, making loading and unloading easier.
The light comes on when the lid is opened, and turns
off automatically when the lid is closed or when you
press and hold the button again. If the lid is left open,
the drum light will turn off on its own after a few minutes.
If you turn on the drum light while the lid is closed, it
will not automatically time out. You must press and hold
the CYCLE SIGNAL button again to turn it off.
