Testing the Alarm Panel with Pushbuttons

1. Test the alarm panel by pressing and holding the "Test" pushbutton (Fig. 15), the buzzer should annunciate and the alarm

LEDs should illuminate. Press the "Silence/Reset" pushbutton and the buzzer should silence while the alarm LEDs remain

on. Press the "Silence/Reset" pushbutton a second time so the "Auto Reset" feature reactivates the alarm panel for the next

alarm cycle. Test product weekly to ensure system integrity.

Testing the Alarm Panel with Normally Open Switch

1. In normal condition, the alarm panel power LED (green) will be illuminated while the "Alarm Sensor" and "Alarm Reset"

LED indicators (red) will not be illuminated.

2. Activate the normally open switch connected to Terminals C and 1 on the alarm panel. The buzzer should annunciate

and the "Alarm Sensor" and "Alarm Reset" LED indicators will illuminate.

3. Deactivate the normally open switch, the buzzer should silence and the "Alarm Sensor" LED should turn off. The "Alarm

Reset" LED should remain illuminated.

4. Press the "Silence/Reset" pushbutton and the "Alarm Reset" LED should turn off and the "Auto Reset" feature reactivates

the alarm panel for the next alarm cycle.

5. Test product weekly to ensure system integrity.
