7. Use a 19mm hex socket to turn the hexagonal drive nut until the yokes are

firmly in contact with the spring.

8. Now continue to compress the spring.

WARNING: AIR TOOLS MUST NOT BE USED TO ADJUST THE SPRING

COMPRESSOR. USE OF AIR TOOLS WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY.

WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW THE SPRING WINDINGS TO TOUCH. DO NOT

ALLOW THE COMPRESSOR TO REACH THE LIMIT OF ITS TRAVEL IN EITHER

DIRECTION.

9. Remove the spring and compressor assembly from the vehicle as soon as

you have attained sufficient compression.

10. With the spring supported turn the hexagonal drive nut in the opposite

direction and remove the compressor and yokes from the spring.

11. To re-mount the spring, reverse the procedure.
