Use the outrigger to prevent the wood splitter from moving during operation and to block

both decks.

•

Place the wood splitter in a horizontal position.

•

Lay a piece of wood against the wedge. (Maximum length: 54 cm)

•

Make sure your hands are away from the crush areas and the wedge.

Cautious!

•

If a piece of wood is stuck or will not split, push the control lever in the opposite

direction to remove the wood from the wedge.

•

If the piece of wood is still stuck or will not split, turn off the machine and use a

sledgehammer to remove the piece of wood.

•

Always keep your hands away from the piece of wood and the wedge while pulling it back.
