Shower head
The shower head has 3 settings;
medium and full, as well as
a close position. The switch is
located on the top front section of
the shower head. Always make
sure that the water flow is set to one
of the open positions when using
water-mains or the pump.
When using the gravity feed bag
keep the shower head closed/off
until you are ready to shower.

LEAK TEST

With the cylinder connected
to the water heater. Open the
cylinder valve.
Brush the connections (water
heater to cylinder) with an
equal parts soap and water
solution (make sure it's foamy).
A stream of bubbles forming
indicates a gas leak. (See
Fig.G)
If bubbles appear, turn the
cylinder valve OFF (clockwise)
and disconnect the water
heater from the gas cylinder.
Tighten the connection and
retry the leak test.
If you are unsure or if you
cannot tighten the connection,
place the cylinder outside in a
cool, well-ventilated area and
contact Alva on 086 100 ALVA
(2582).
A leak between the water
heater and cylinder can lead to
a high pressure fire, which is
very dangerous and can result
in extensive injury or even
death.

DO NOT let the pump
run dry - you may
damage the pump
and/or unit.
Pull the hot water
output pipe out
before you install the
LPG cylinder.
Make sure the gas fow
control knob is at the
"MIN" position.
