SPECIFICATION

Battery Pack for Vanity Mounted Automatic Soap Dispensing Systems shall hold four (4) D-size battery cells, in

self-contained gray ABS molded plastic case. Cover is matching gray ABS molded plastic retained with M4x0.7x16

Phillips Pan head screws (provided) tightened through counterbore holes (provided) into bosses with threaded inserts.

Power socket is provided for Vanity Mounted Automatic Soap Dispensing Systems. Mounting brackets shall be

integral with molded case and shall accommodate № 8 - № 10 or M4 screws (by others). Corners shall be rounded

and all edges smooth.

Battery Pack for Vanity Mounted Automatic Soap Dispensing Systems shall be Model № 0385-BP of American

Specialties, Inc., 441 Saw Mill River Road, Yonkers, NY 10701-4913

INSTALLATION

Install battery box on wall using two (2) № 8 - № 10 or M4 self-threading Phillips pan head screws (by others)

through hole and mounting slot provided in top and bottom brackets. Alternatively install a pan head screw with

head size that fits through the slot-tab hole at chosen location and hang battery box on one (1) screw for

convenience in protected vanity condition. Locate battery box in position within easy reach of dispenser power

cable that affords convenience for unplugging cable and unscrewing cover to replace batteries during unit lifetime.

OPERATION

Installer positions Battery Pack manually to retain in most convenient orientation to connect to power cable from

countertop dispenser shank or Top-Fill Tank controller socket. Installed screws through brackets securely hold

battery box from shifting. Even DC power is supplied for operating lifetime of cells installed and battery cells are

replaced on cycle determined by maintenance needs. Do not mix old cells with new cells when replacing for service;

only use new cells when replacing old cells.
