Run the Chromium
Controller
Chromium Controller Readiness Test User Guide with Chromium Next GEM Test Chip • Rev F
a. Press the touchscreen of the Chromium
Controller to display options.
b. Press the eject button on the touchscreen to
eject the tray.
c. Place the assembled chip with the gasket in
the tray (align the diagonal etchings on the
top left corner of the Chromium Next GEM
Secondary Holder and the back left corner of
the tray). Press the button to retract the tray.
d. Confirm the Chromium Test program on
screen. Press the play button.
e. At the completion of the run (~3 min), the
Chromium Controller will chime. Press the
button to eject the empty tray.
f. If there are any problems during this
process, contact
for further assistance.
g. Save the Chromium Next GEM Secondary
Holder for use with your Chromium
Controller. The 10x Gasket and Test Chip
should also be stored.
Firmware Version 4.0 or higher is required in the
