Rear Panel Connections

RF OUTPUT

REAR PANEL CONNECTIONS

1, RF OUTPUT – This type "F" connector is the high level

(+45 to +61 dBmV), 54 to 1002 MHz, output from the EH24

RF output section.

R2, S-VIDEO 1 & 2 - These S-Video type connectors

provide two separate S-Video inputs to the SDE24 Encoder.

R3, VIDEO 1 & 2 - These two RCA type connectors color

coded yellow provide two separate video inputs to the SDE24

Encoder.

R4, AUDIO 1 & 2 - These four color coded RCA type connec-

tors provide audio Left (white) and Right (red) inputs to the

SDE24 Encoder.

R5, This is space available for additional SDE24 Encoders

which may be installed in the EH24 Encoder Host.

R6, ASI OUTPUT - This BNC type connector provides ASI

output of the multiplexed transport streams from selected

encoders.

R7, Cooling Air Vents

R8, RS232 IN - Connection to a PC or modem for use with

remote control / monitoring program or for firmware down-

load.

R9, RS232 OUT - Loop to another EH24 or other RS232

controllable device.

R10, AC Line Cord – For connection to the nominal

120 VAC power source. This unit is designed for use in

countries with 120 VAC power standards but the power

supply will accept an input voltage range of 90 VAC minimum

to 132 VAC maximum with a power line frequency of from 47

to 63 Hz. The maximum power consumption is 70 watts.
