Operating the appliance

Saturation display

If the metal grease filters or the activated charcoal filter

are/is saturated, the corresponding symbols flashes

after the appliance is switched off:

Metal grease filters: # and 1

Activated charcoal filter: # and 2

■

Metal grease filter and activated charcoal filter: #,

■

1 and 2

If you have not yet done so, the metal grease filters

should now be cleaned or the activated charcoal filter

replaced. ~ "Cleaning and maintenance" on page 10

The saturation indicator does not apply for non-

Note:

renewable activated charcoal filters that are inserted

downstream of the metal grease filter. These activated

charcoal filters must be replaced twice a year.

The saturation indicators can be reset while they are

flashing. To do this, touch the # symbol.

Switching over the display for air recirculation mode

For air recirculation mode, the electronic controller must

be switched over accordingly:

The extractor hood must be connected and switched

off.

Touch and hold the D symbol. Touch the "2"

■

symbol.Take your finger off the D symbol. This

will switch the electronic controller over to air

recirculation mode (filters that cannot be

regenerated).

Touch and hold the D symbol. Touch the "3"

■

symbol.Take your finger off the D symbol. This

will switch the electronic controller over to air

recirculation mode (filters that can be regenerated).

Repeatedly touching and holding the D symbol

■

and touching the "1" symbol switches the electronic

controller back over to air extraction mode.

Audible signal

Switching on

Touch and hold the # and y symbols at the same time

for approximately 3 seconds when the fan is switched

off. An audible signal will sound as an

acknowledgement.

Touch and hold the # and y symbols at the same time

for approximately 3 seconds when the fan is switched

off. An audible signal will sound as an

acknowledgement.
