Before Servicing
WARNING
1.
Disconnect the power before servicing. Trip circuit breaker to the OFF position, or remove
fuse.
2.
Do not service when the range hood is working.
3.
Make sure all electrical connections are correct and secure.
4.
Make sure all electrical leads are properly dressed and secured away from sharp edges,
high-temperature components, and moving parts.
5.
Make sure all non-insulated electrical terminals, connectors, etc. are adequately spaced
away from all metal parts and panels.
6.
Make sure all safety grounds (both internal and external) are correctly and securely
connected.
7.
Make sure all panels and control board are properly and securely installed.
After testing and/or repairing
WARNING
1.
Make sure electrical supply wires are connected correctly.
2.
Make sure all safety grounds (both internal and external) are correctly and securely
connected.
3.
Reconnect all leads removed from components during testing.
4.
The internal connecting wires and motor wires should be bound tightly with bindings.
5.
Make sure parts are re-installed correctly.
6.
Make sure all the screws are tightened.
7.
Make sure all electrical leads are properly dressed and secured away from sharp edges, high-
temperature components, and moving parts.
8.
Make sure all non-insulated electrical terminals, connectors, etc. are adequately spaced
away from all metal parts and panels.
9.
Make sure all panels and control board are properly and securely installed.
