Installation Guide AX Center

Operation

AX Center is controlled from a Mac or Windows computer via the Thunderbolt connection or the Ethernet port
on the rear panel and configured by the DADman software running on the computer. On the front panel, you can
monitor some of the primary settings.
In the middle of the unit there are two Combo input XLR / ¼" jack connectors. The mode of each channel of the
two-channel input stage can be selected as the instrument input or the microphone input via DADman. The
selected mode is shown on the LED indicators next to the two connectors.
On the right side of the unit, there are two ¼" stereo jack connectors for headphones. The headphone level and
configuration is managed via the DADman software where the outputs can be attached as headphone monitor
outputs managed by the Pro|Mon monitor profile in the DADman software, enabling very flexible monitoring
configurations and well as integration to the DAD MOM monitor operation module and Avid Eucon™ for control
from Avid Eucon-enabled devices.
