2. How to adjust ink amount of the knob on

the operator's side: Adjust it from the gap

between the outer frame and the drum.

3. When printed too dark or too light on the

operator's side:

● Too dark: turn the knob in the − direction (3 steps)

● Too light: turn the knob in the + direction (3 steps)

● Ink adjusting knob on the operator's side

(standard position)

Never loosen the set screw.

4. When printed too dark or too light on the rear

side:

● Too dark: turn the knob in the − direction (3 steps)

● Too light: turn the knob in the + direction (3 steps)

● Ink adjusting knob on the rear side

(standard position)

8. If Options Are Installed

● Optional equipment should be installed after

the machine itself has been installed and test-

run to check that it functions normally. For the

procedure for installing optional equipment,

see the Installation Manual supplied with it.

5. When printed too dark or too light on the

entire surface: Adjust the above steps 3 and

4 at the same time.

IMPORTANT

● There are seven steps, standard and

±3 steps to adjust image density. When

adjusting image density, print dozen of

sheets to stabilize the density every time

you change it by every step. Repeat the

above steps until you get desired print

density.

6. After the adjustment, move the cover

displaced in step 1.2 back to its original

position and secure it with the screw.

7. Return the drum rotated in step 1.1 back to

its original position. (The stopper ﬁ ts in the

groove of the drum.)

IMPORTANT

● Do not rotate the drum in the opposite

direction of the arrow. Ink may overﬂ ow.
