Installation procedures

The following procedures are omitted from this manual. Please have the work done by a knowledgeable

Perform the necessary work before assembly.

If you find any damaged or worn parts, replace them with new ones.

1. CRANKSHAFT / CRANKCASE

#26. STUD BOLT A (197mm)

#3. CRANKSHAFT ASSY.

#27. STUD BOLT B (209.5mm)

Replace the cylinder stud bolt on the crankcase.

Apply a sufficient amount of oil to the crankshaft.

Install the crankshaft into the crankcase.

Put the cam chain on the crankshaft.

Remove the crankcase gasket.

Clean and inspect the disassembled parts.
