Installing Outside (Reader) Escutcheon and Ground Wire:
a. Insert reader assembly and route wires through door (Fig. 9a).
b. Install two #8-32 x 1-3/4" flat head screws (Fig. 9b).
c. Connect pin-5 green/yellow ground wire ring terminal to top
right screw (Fig. 9c).

Secure Mounting Plate using two #8 x 3/4" combination
surface mount screws.
Add Gasket (if necessary):
Remember an inside gasket must be used
when installing in an outdoor application.
