Replacing the operating panel cable

Ê Extract the holder of the LED at the inside of the chassis and push the LED

out of the holder from the front side. Remove the second LED in the same

way.

Ê Disconnect the plug from the temperature sensor (see figure 8 on page 25).

Ê Release the cables from the cable clamps, pull them through the recesses

of the chassis.

Ê Disconnect the plug from the system board (connector Panel 1, see system

board foil D2530).

Ê Connect the new operating panel cable to the system board.

Ê Route the new operating panel cable as the old one.

Ê Push the two LEDs in their holders at the inside of the chassis.

Ê Insert the on/off button in its holder and fasten it with two screws.

Ê Hook the front cover into the right hand side (see figure 3 on page 20), close

the front cover and push it in the chassis until the locking levers engage.

Ê Close the server (for a detailed description see the Options Guide) and

connect the power plug.
