Situation C - Changing the color of,

and shortening the decor insert:

Remove the decor strips, decor insert,

backing panel and polystyrene

spacers. Replace the existing insert

with the one that was cut to the

dimensions calculated in Step 5. If

the new decor insert is thicker than

1/16" (2 mm), the cardboard spacer

can be removed. (The maximum

thickness of any panel cannot ex-

ceed 5/32" (4 mm).)

Re-installation:

Re-install the front panel by revers-

ing the procedures outlined in Step 6

and Step 4.

Push the dishwasher back under the

countertop and proceed to Step 7,

"Adjusting the door springs."

Step 7.

Adjusting the door springs

The door springs are correctly adjusted

when a half opened door remains in

that position when released.

If the door drops down, the springs

need to be tightened.

If the door closes, the springs need to

be loosened.

The adjusting screw is located in the

upper front strip on the left hand side of

the dishwasher.

Open the dishwasher door.

Adjust the door springs to the cor-

rect balance by using a Torx screw-

driver:

– turn clockwise to tighten

– turn counterclockwise to loosen.
