Daily Set Up & Test Procedure - Ventilator

Close down the bellows to zero

Set the tidal

volume to 600ml

Adjust tidal

volume lock as

required

Attach a one litre reservoir bag to circuit.

Squeeze the self-inflating bag to

demonstrate expansion of test lung (A)

and simultaneous movements of the

reservoir bag on the panel (B).

Set rate to 10

breaths per minute.

Switch on the ventilator,

confirm it works.
