Closed defect summary

Under rare conditions, fabric mode TopTalker monitor does not display

correct flow values.

Attempting to configure port mirroring on a director with both 4-Gb

and 8-Gb blades may result in a software Verify error.

After repeatedly running bladedisable/enable on one FC8-48

blade for six hours, a DC Director panics.

FCR matrix settings may not persist after hafailover on a 4/256

SAN Director.

When disabling/enabling a port, Port Fencing disables the port be-

cause the allowable number of invalid transmission words is exceeded.

Under rare conditions, a DC Director panics during SAK IRNDUP when

the software watchdog detects an unexpected termination of the FICON

CUP daemon (ficud).

Port Based Routing with DLS ON does not immediately balance the

load when adding an ISL.

Ex_Port fails to come online after downgrading firmware from Fabric

OS 6.x to 5.3 under certain conditions.

Fastwrite performance issue with a particular FCIP ex-port configuration.

During storage failover/failback test with IP over FC, traffic stops and

fails to recover in single and dual backbone configurations.

During non-disruptive firmwaredownload, Ex_Ports may toggle,

causing traffic disruption in a 8/40 SAN Switch and 8/80 SAN

Switch.

After hareboot, "Probing failed" on F_Port messages may be seen on

the 8/8 SAN Switch, 8/24 SAN Switch, 8/40 SAN Switch or 8/80

SAN Switch.

Under rare conditions, ISL may get stuck at G_Port on the 8/8 SAN

Switch, 8/24 SAN Switch or 8/80 SAN Switch.

Launching Switch Throughput graph in Advanced Performance Monitor

for the 8/8 SAN Switch, 8/24 SAN Switch, 8/40 SAN Switch or

8/80 SAN Switch. Throughput graph will not display 8G/sec values.

On a 8/80 SAN Switch, the system status LED does not flash am-

ber/green when a power supply is faulted. The system status LED re-

mains steady green.

Solution

Fixed in Fabric OS 6.1.0a
