The Accusound AMA-1 acoustic amplifier is a professional quality, flexible product.
The amplifier is intended to be used with microphones or pickups with an XLR or
1/4" jack plug connector. Phantom power may be switched on and off using a front
panel button. Similarly the input sensitivity may be changed using a front panel
button, allowing use of many different instrument pickup or CD players.
The front panel also allows independent volume control along with overall system
volume. Three band tone control is available on each channel plus a parametric
control to allow selective enhancement or reduction of a particular frequency.
There are 16 different reverberation programs available. Both channels must use
the same reverberation channel, however the level of reverberation may be
adjusted on each channel independently from none to max.
If this is insufficient, external effects may be added by use of the send and return
sockets on the amplifier.
There is also a headphone socket with independent volume control to allow
personal listening or monitoring.
The DI output is selectable between pre and post main volume control so a clean
signal may be sent to your main amplification system if you are using the AMA-1 for
monitoring.
There are clipping indicators on each input, plus the output, to indicate when you
are approaching the overload limit of the amplifier. (Green indicates good signal
level, Red indicates close to clipping level, no LED illumination indicates a very low
input level.)
