Faults

Water is leaking from the

appliance.

The appliance is not filling

with water.

Detergent is not being dis-

pensed.

The door cannot be

opened.

The programme will not

start.

The water is not draining.

Water is not visible in the

drum.

The spin result is not sat-

isfactory.

Laundry is wet/too damp.

The programme takes

longer than usual.

Cause/remedy

Close the door properly; washing may be trapped.

Turn on tap fully, inlet hose kinked/jammed; water pressure too low, clean fil-

Cause/remedy

Attach the drain hose correctly or replace it.

Tighten the threaded joint on the inlet hose.

Start button not selected?

Is the tap turned on?

Could the filter be clogged? Clean the filter. ~ Page 18

Is the inlet hose kinked or trapped?

The safety function is activated. Cancel the programme? Wait approxi-

Not a fault – the unbalanced load detection system has interrupted the spin

because the washing is unevenly distributed. Distribute small and large items of

washing in the drum.

Not a fault – unbalanced load detection system adjusts imbalance by

repeatedly distributing the washing.

Not a fault – foam detection system active – a rinse cycle is activated.
