Control direction with the three position switch:

Enter Loco ID (UT4D)

Enter the locomotive ID on the rotary address

selectors.

Press the SEL button or plug the throttle into the

LocoNet.

Check the status light. If it is blinking green the

locomotive ID has been acquired.

If taking locomotive control from another throttle,

press the STEAL button.

Locomotive Operation (UT4D)

Left is reverse.

Center is brake (stop)

Right is forward

Control speed with

knob.

Fully counterclockwise

(7 o'clock) is stop

Fully clockwise

(5 o'clock) is full

power.

Toggle functions with

function pad.

For functions 7-12,

press & hold the

SHIFT button and

press the function key.
