8. To suspend ﬁ xture, secure chain (not supplied) to ﬁ xture wire

support arms. (Chain must be suitable to support four times

ﬁ xture weight).

WIRING AND FIXTURE OPERATION

CAUTION: Connect ﬁ xture to supply wires rated for at

least 90°C (194°F).

NOTE: Waterproof conduit required for use with supplied

watertight ﬁ tting-

XVML 3500LM (3/8"), XVML 5000LM (1/2")

9. Remove large nut and components from Liquid Tight ﬁ tting (5).

10. Insert the locknut onto the watertight conduit.- See Fig 5

11. Insert the sealing ring onto the conduit with the tapered end

toward the end of the conduit. Insert the metal cone into the end

of the conduit. See Fig 5

12. Feed incoming power cord though conduit into ﬁ xture. Make sure

enough wire is fed into ﬁ xture to reach center of ﬁ xture.

13. Insert conduit assembly into ﬁ tting installed on end of ﬁ xture.

Securely tighten locknut onto ﬁ tting. See Fig 6

14. Make wire connections by connecting bare copper or green

supply wire to both green ﬁ xture wires with wirenut (8). Connect

black supply wire to black ﬁ xture wire and white supply wire to

white ﬁ xture wire with wirenut.

For proper connection- place wirenut over wires, twist clock-

wise until tight.

For Fixture with 0-10V dimming (120 - 277V driver

only), use Wirenuts to connect violet dimmer wire

from ﬁ xture (+) to positive (+) wire from dimmer and

gray dimmer wire ( - ) from ﬁ xture to negative ( - ) wire

from dimmer.

15. Bundle wires together and position inside wire way.

16. Position wireway cover (3) onto ﬁ xture opening making sure

wires are not pinched between housing and cover. Rotate latches

(7) to secure to housing.

17. To install Diffuser (2)- Place Diffuser edge onto gasket area on

the perimeter of housing. Hook Latch under lip of Diffuser and

press inward on latch body to secure.

18. Installation is complete. Turn on electricity at fuse or circuit

breaker box.
