covered in soot due to incorrect operation, the soot can be easily removed using an

approved glass cleaner. The glass must be cold when you clean it. Avoid loading the stove

with pieces of wood that are so long that they press against the glass window when the door

is closed and crack the glass. Never operate the stove with cracked or damaged glass.

Ceramic glass replacement. Only replace with genuine Firenzo Schott Robax™ glass.

Refractory linings. Only replace with genuine Firenzo parts.

The appliance uses a combination of our Firenzo refractory kiln bricks and Firenzo

Skamolex™ bricks. The condition of the refractory linings needs to be checked annually and

replaced if signs of deterioration are evident.

Air supply components. Only replace with genuine Firenzo parts.

Air supply components are made from steel and/or high temperature grade stainless steel

and need to be checked annually and replaced if signs of deterioration are evident. The

vortex cap is a steel component and is a consumable item because of the extreme heat and

duty it is subject to during operation. Firenzo recommend this is replaced annually.

Gaskets and Rope Seals. Only replace with genuine Firenzo parts.

Over time, the gaskets and seals around the stove will wear and should be replaced as

needed the door rope on the top door is 13mm and does not have rope along the top of the

door .The bottom door uses 13mm rope but has 8mm along the top. Firenzo door rope can

only be used

Internal Discolouration. A brown (rust like) colouration may develop on the exposed

internal steel parts on the firebox. This is simply the build-up of oxides from combustion and

is quite normal and will not affect the performance of the appliance.

Boiler. The water channels of the boiler are sealed and so should not be tampered with. The

flue gas tubes should be cleaned as per rear flue duct as above.

10. Warranty Details

1. Hewitsons Limited (reg 569753) with a specified address of 98 Niven Street, Onekawa,

Napier and trading as Firenzo Wood fires gives:

• A five (5) year warranty but ONLY for the firebox, and cast iron

components.

including its refractory linings, glass, air supply components, wetback / boiler,

ceramic seals & tapes,.
