AQUASONIC INSTALL- JANDY FACE RING

Carefully place the Jandy face ring (chrome side down) on a non-abrasive surface. Loosen the screws

until the retaining ring can be removed (see Photo #1 below). Remove the speaker from its box and

place the sound lens on the Jandy face ring (#2). Carefully spread the Jandy retaining ring so it can go

around the speaker's connecting stud (#3). Evenly align the retaining ring on the speaker.

CAUTION: Overspreading the retaining ring may break the ring.

Once aligned, tighten the screws in the retaining ring until they are secure (#4). Do not overtighten.

Take the end of the speaker wire and pull it through the conduit hole in the back of the niche using a

wire puller (#5). Leave 10 to 12 ft. of speaker wire in the niche to allow for easier access during future

servicing of the speaker (#6). Place the speaker inside the light niche (#7).

Note: In actual applications, the niche will already be mounted in the wall of the pool.
