Adjusting the door balance

Fitting the decor panel may sometimes

affect the door balance due to the

different load placed on the same. In this

case it will be necessary to adjust the

balance by regulating the appropriate

nuts «A» provided on the back of the

machine near the rear feet. By screwing or

unscrewing these nuts the tension of the

door balancing springs is increased or

decreased respectively (fig. 24).

The program plate is fastened to the

control panel as follows:

1. Remove knob «A» from the

programme selector.

2. Remove screw «B» fastening the knob

body to the programme selector spindle.

3. Depress pushbuttons.

4. Position the programme plate on the

control panel taking care to introduce tags

«C» into corresponding slots provided on

the control panel. To lock them in position

press the programme plate against the

control panel.

5. Refit the knob assembly.
