The CP-508 control panel can be operated by one or more keypads. When keypads are used an
identification code is required. This code is called PIN-code. All PIN-codes are 4-digit codes. There
is one 2-digit code available by which a quick arming procedure can be performed. PIN-codes can be
devided into 3 levels:

systemsupervisor

sectionleader
-
user
After entering a valid 4-digit PIN-code, on the display the indication 'oP' will appear. Is the entered
code invalid then on the display the indication 'FC' will appear for about 3 seconds.
The CP-508 control panel can be armed and disarmed also by using keyswitches.
1.1 Keypad
The meaning of the horizontal dashes of the leftmost digit is as follows:
uppermost on: section A armed
uppermost off: section A disarmed
middle on:
middle off:
lowest on:
lowest off:
The horizontal dashes of the rightmost digit have
following meaning:
uppermost on: one or more zones belonging to secti-
on A are isolated
middle on: one or more zones belonging to section B
are isolated
lowest on: one or more zones belonging to section C
are isolated
1.1 a) The LED's 1 to10 indicate if a zone is clo-
sed or opened. If the LED is flashing then
the zone is currently opened. Which zone is
indicated by which LED depends on the sta-
tus of the rightmost point in the display (see 1.1c) The OFF LED (green) is turned on if all
sections are disarmed. If one or more sections are armed then the ARM LED will be turned
on. If the ARM LED is flashing, then the control panel is switched into the HOME situation.
1.1 b) The point in the middle of the display is used as mains indication. If mains is present, it will
be turned on, if not present then it starts flashing. If the programmed delay time is over then
the point will be turned off
1.1 c) The rightmost point in the dis-
play indicates which group of
zones is displayed by the LED's
1 to 10. If the point is turned
off, then LED's 1 to 9 indicate
the status of zones 1 to 9, other-
wise zones 10 to 16 are shown
by the LED's 10 and 1 to 6.
2. ARMING THE CONTROL PA-
NEL
2.1 Control Panel arming completely
Enter PIN-code. Press <#>-key. All sec-
tions where the entered PIN-code is aut-
horized for, will be armed. If the 2-digit
quick-arming code is programmed, then
the control panel can be armed by ente-
ring those 2 digits followed by pressing the <#>-key. This 2-digit code can, of course, not be used for
