Description
Battery Charger for Ni-MH R6/R03 batteries. The charger is
compatible with all electricity networks rated 100-240 V and
automatically recognises which voltage is being used. It is
therefore ideal for using in different countries.
Safety
-
The charger is designed exclusively for charging Ni-MH
batteries. Attempts to charge any other type of battery
may result in personal injury and/or damage to the
charger.
-
For indoor use only.
-
Remove the plug of the battery charger from the wall
socket when the charger is not in use.
-
Do not expose the charger to moisture, knocks or high
temperatures.
-
Do not use the charger if the plug or casing is damaged.
-
Do not open the casing. Certain parts inside the casing
carry dangerous currents. Touching these can give you
an electrical shock.
-
The charger should only be repaired by qualified service
personnel.
-
Always unplug the device from the wall socket before

Timer to prevent overcharging.

Overheating protection.

Reverse-polarity protection.

Faulty battery detection.
Use
NOTE!
-
The batteries are not charged when the product is sold,
and need to be charged before use.
-
The battery charger measures the amount of charge in
the batteries as soon as it starts charging. Should any
of the batteries be unsuitable for charging (e.g. short
circuited or misaligned) the LED on the charger will flash.
1. Insert the batteries (1-4 R6/R03) into the battery charger.
Make sure that the poles are correctly aligned by
following the markings in battery compartment.
2. Plug the plug into the wall socket. The charger will
recognise at once which voltage is being used. If you
are abroad, a special adaptor plug might be needed (not
included). The red LED will light when the batteries are
being charged.
3. When the batteries are fully charged, the green LED will
come on. The battery charger then automatically begins
maintenance charging.
4. Disconnect the charger from the wall socket and remove
the batteries from the charger as soon after charging as
possible. Do not leave the batteries in the charger for
longer than 2 days. Neither should you leave batteries in
the charger when it is not connected to the mains.
