Final test:

Turn Radio "ON"

Press "CD/AUX" button repeatedly until "AUX MODE" is activated or

press "AUX" Soft key

3. Set radio volume to minimum setting

4. Launch Smartphone streaming application.

5. Set volume on audio device to medium level (50%)

6. Carefully adjust radio volume in small steps until desired volume is

reached. If necessary, increase volume on audio device.

Warning!

Playlist and Track selection is *NOT* possible from the

Radio. Use the smartphone built-in controls to access and control the

audio files.

If correct operation is confirmed, tuck away any extra wires and re-

install Radio.

Frequent asked questions

My Porsche has factory Hands-free, will the A2D-CDR30 interfere?

NO;

The A2D-CDR30 adds Bluetooth music streaming features to your vehicle and

will not interfere with factory hands-free calls. When hands-free is in use, music

streaming will mute/pause.

My vehicle has an AUX jack. Will the A2D-CDR30 interfere with it?

YES;

AUX jack or iPod adapter options must be disconnected because the A2D-

CDR30 connects to radio through the aux port.

I'm experiencing alternator whine. What can be done to fix this?

Engine noise is uncommon, however if you do experience engine noise, we

recommend locating an alternate ACC supply source or adding a noise filter such

as our

NF3A

Will I be able to control Smartphone or Tablet from radio buttons?

NO;

you must continue to use Smartphone or Tablet built-in controls and

display to operate device. Volume button on radio is used to set playback level.

Optional wireless remote control available to control audio device

Does this module work on Porsche PCM Radios?

NO, this module works only on Porsche CDR30 and CDR31 Radios.

Will I have to enable AUX on Stereo at dealership?

In some vehicles, aux is already enabled; and those that are not will require dealer

activation. For verification: Press "CD" button repeatedly to cycle between CD

and AUX, if only CD appears, yours will require dealer activation.
