Gaining Access to the Old RCA Jacks

Removing the jacks may be made much easier by loosening the back-panel. Remove four
screws (refer to Figure 6) and two screws (Figure 7) that fasten the back panel to the
power supply bracket. At that point, you will be able to lift the back panel and tilt it
back. Be careful not to put too much strain on the wires that run from the chassis to the
back panel.
Now remove the sixteen 4-40 screws that hold the jack fields in place. Figure 7 shows 8
of the 16 screws that hold the jack fields in place. All 16 screws must be removed to
allow the jack fields to be removed.
